Shooting at Florida State University Leaves 2 Dead and 6 Injured
Students evacuated after an active shooter opened fire near the university’s student union building on Thursday. Officials identified the shooter as a 20-year-old student at the university and son of a county sheriff’s deputy.

And I’m just hearing active shooter, and you kind of just, like, panic a little bit in the moment. You’re just like, Damn, is that real? Unfortunately, her son had access to one of her weapons, and that was one of the weapons that was found at the scene. Coming up. We will make sure that we do everything we can to prosecute and make sure that we send a message to folks that this will never be tolerated.
