Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE), a leading UK business coaching organisation, is calling for stronger support mechanisms to help business owners across the Midlands unlock growth.
The West Midlands currently hosts 965,903 companies, accounting for 8.1% of all UK businesses. However, business density is uneven, with major cities outperforming neighbouring areas by a significant margin.
Adam Stott, Founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs, said: “With vast industrial heritage but stark variation in business density, the Midlands is primed for business coaching to help founders scale and close the gap between its strongest and weakest-performing areas.
“The Midlands has long been one of the UK’s industrial engines, and today remains a region of enormous potential but more targeted support is needed to help business owners achieve that potential.”
BBE argues that effective coaching can help address this imbalance by giving entrepreneurs the tools to build confidence, improve digital engagement and scale their businesses more effectively.
Adam Stott added: “The Midlands has world-class talent, industry and innovation, but many small business owners struggle to access the structure and support needed to grow. Coaching gives them a roadmap so they can increase revenue, hire staff and contribute more fully to regional economic prosperity.”
