Warwick Sharp, CEO, GLF Schools

Warwick Sharp spent 17 years helping to grease the wheels of government.

He helmed reviews of standards and the curriculum, acted as chief of staff to three secretaries of state, managed a £60 billion agency and oversaw the children’s wellbeing and schools bill.

But in May, he swapped Whitehall for Surrey, becoming the chief executive of GLF Schools, one of England’s biggest multi-academy trusts.
